Beartooth Jacket Design

Named after the Beartooth Mountains in Southern Montana, the Beartooth Jacket is designed for cold to moderate hunting conditions. The perfect layering piece for any bowhunter looking to manage extreme shifts in weather throughout a day. It was designed to be an all around all purpose shell layer that has an incredibly soft and quiet external face but a warm bonded grid fleece internal layer. It has a high double layered duster style collar system separate from the over sized hood to allow for better concealment and protection from the elements. It is designed with double horizontal pit vent zips built into the side gussets of the jacket to allow for maximum air flow with minimal fabric slack when opened. It has an elstic wrist tightening system to allow for custom form fit no matter the size of your forearm and wrists, but also give ample bow string clearance.

Easy Company Camo

There hasn’t been a development of a product or idea in the history of Aspinwall Mountain Wear that has consumed more time, analysis, money, thought, revisions and testing than that of Easy Company Camo. This pattern is a completely original in house design that went through numerous trial stages. The pattern is designed on the Positive/Negative Space Concept built for hunters and based entirely on how cervid species (deer, elk, moose) see their surroundings. Cervid Species eyes don't capture color chroma (bright red, bright green) nearly as much as they interpret color value (light or dark) and color temperature (warm or cool). Easy Company Camo has been engineered to exchange effective positive and negative shape space with temperature and value exchanges in blended mass color shapes. It is an incredibly versatile pattern that can be used in thick wooded areas for late season tree stand hunts but also performs very well in open country scenarios with warm background hillsides and cool shadow temperatures.

Sizing Guidelines

The Beartooth Jacket fits normal compared to other technical hunt brands on the market. The jacket fits a longer athletic build well with ample length in the front and back body length as well as the arms. One great way to determine our sizing is measure a jacket of your own liking and compare it to our measurements below. Follow sizing guidelines as a helpful resource for fit.

Front Body Length: Standing normal position, measure from the high point of your shoulder, at the base of your neck straight down to where a jacket would end.

Chest Width: With a soft tape measure, measure the distance around your chest and back at the biggest point.

Sleeve Length: Standing in a normal position, arms relaxed by your side, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the top of your shoulder and down the outside of you arm to your wrist.

Bottom Sweep: With a favorite jacket laid flat, measure the distance along the bottom of the hem of the jacket from side to side.

Wrist Opening: With jacket laid flat, measure distance of the opening at the wrist.
