Technical Pant - Gear Launch

Utilizing the same fabric as the Beartooth Jacket, the Beartooth Pant is a technical hunting pant built for cold to moderate hunting conditions. This pant is insulated with a fleece lining. The Beartooth Fabric is a 300 g/sm (grams per square meter) double layered fabric with a soft grid fleece internal layer bonded with a snag and moisture resistant quiet matte face. This fabric has a perfect blend between moisture resistance and dead quiet material as it has an 80/20 DWR Finish. 80/20 DWR is a chemical wash property that allows for 80% of the garment to stay dry when soaked and hold that property for 20 washes. Named after the Beartooth Mountains in Southern Montana, the Beartooth Pant is designed for cold to moderate hunting conditions as it is a fleece lined pant. The Pant has vent zips in multiple places to allow for maximum airflow to cool you down. The Beartooth Pant has a long extended vent zip down the outsides of the leg to get you cooled off instantly but also an internal gusset vent zip in the crotch area where you need the heat release the most. All zippers are YKK#3 reverse coil zippers except for the fly zip where you don't want a reverse coil zipper. All zippers are tipped with a single cord silicon dipped zipper pull with a matte finish. We love pants that have great belt loops so we designed this pant with seven 1 inch wide nylon webbing for belt loops for ample coverage. It comes with a built in low profile nylon webbing belt that has an adjustable open hook, designed to be worn with an additional pant built if desired. The front pockets are capped with nylon webbing to allow for better structure and pocket entry. The pant has oversized thigh and rear pockets for easy entry for big hands. The pant has built in articulated knee construction for more natural movement shape and comfort. 

There hasn’t been a development of a product or idea in the history of Aspinwall Mountain Wear that has consumed more time, analysis, money, thought, revisions and testing than that of Easy Company Camo. This pattern is a completely original in house design that went through numerous trial stages. The pattern is designed on the Positive/Negative Space Concept built for hunters and based entirely on how cervid species (deer, elk, moose) see their surroundings. Cervid Species eyes don't capture color chroma (bright red, bright green) nearly as much as they interpret color value (light or dark) and color temperature (warm or cool). Easy Company Camo has been engineered to exchange effective positive and negative shape space with temperature and value exchanges in blended mass color shapes. It is an incredibly versatile pattern that can be used in thick wooded areas for late season tree stand hunts but also performs very well in open country scenarios with warm background hillsides and cool shadow temperatures.
